I’m overjoyed to be dreaming these up again after a five year recess and excitingly they will not be limited to the UK. I get asked to host these more than anything else I do and I am having immense fun plotting and planning, especially the overseas ones!

At each Masterclass I will create considered, site-specific installations and pieces of land art using unplanned foraged and found ingredients, no matter how weird or unlikely they are. The tour is not a fast paced 'cover as much ground and cram everything in to a few weeks' type thing, it will be a slow discovery of places that intrigue me, places that offer something different to my beloved and gritty Yorkshire.

I'll demonstrate how to see things in a different way and to recognise the potential in the most unlikely of things; to look past the more obvious materials, in favour of the quiet, hidden ones and I'll share my choices and thought processes with you. I’ll also share my sneaky mechanics hacks and how to recycle everyday throwaway containers into no cost water sources.

Each class will vary to reflect the specific landscape, terroir, weather, local materials and vibe. I'll settle into the area ahead of each class, allowing it to seep into me, then create my representation of the landscape, be that mountains, moors, woodlands or deserts. The place will totally inform the nature of the creation - some will be hanging, some freestanding, others who knows what. I won't know what this will be in advance but I can guarantee, if you're considering more than one, your experience and what you take away will be totally different at each.
